It's been a pretty busy week for B and I. We went to not one but two concerts, and I spent Friday at Junk Bonanza with my Mom (you can check out last year's post here). Since we've moved into a smaller apartment, I've been trying to avoid buying a lot of decorative stuff. There's only so much shelf space and, let's be real, dusting really isn't my thing. So I've decided that I'm only going to display things that I absolutely love. Unfortunately, this meant that a lot of things that I liked at the Junk Bonanza weren't coming home with me this year.
As you may have gathered, I'm getting married next year. And the Bonanza provided all sorts of inspiration for decor...that I didn't take pictures of because I was being lazy. My apologies. But there was all sorts of gorgeousness that, luckily for me, will be making a repeat appearance at the April Junk Bonanza.
One of the things I was looking for at the Bonanza was a convex mirror. You wouldn't think this would be difficult, but most of the vintage mirrors I've seen have bald eagles molded at the top and are a little too patriotic for my taste. And then Target came swooping in like my knight in shining low-priced armor. While it isn't exactly what I'm looking for, it'll do until I find that elusive vintage mirror. It's my unicorn.
