I just finished watching a PBS special, The President's Photographer, about the past 50 years in White House photography. It was one of those shows you put on while you're doing the dishes or folding the laundry. Background noise. But it was so. incredibly. addicting. B and I ended up dropping what we were doing and watching with rapt attention. The images were incredible and I felt inspired to share.
If you haven't checked out the White House flickr page you are missing out. The images are wonderful and it really gives you a sense of what happens behind the scenes. (That and I like scoping out what Michelle is wearing this week.)
